Warmest Holiday Greetings from Fairyland,
It is appropriate that I am sitting at Seaview gazing out on a light powdering of snow a few days before Christmas - I would personally be VERY happy if it stays LIGHT!
We at the Kirks Folly Family truly wish you all a joyous and peaceful season with family, friends, animals, fairy friends and whomever you are celebrating with.
For some reason it was a little difficult for me to kick into the holiday spirit this year - by last Sunday I didn't even have my tree - and I had 2 little babies coming soon! Well, Sunday morning there was a text on my phone, "got your tree yet?". It was Helen saying that if I didn't she was on her way over to facilitate that merry deed.
We made our way to a local store, they had one display tree left, all lit, all set up and waiting for me. In a matter of minutes we had that tree in Helen's car and set up in my house. Now that's a no fuss tree. And I am now ready to greet the babies in holiday style. Sometimes one needs a gentle push to make it all happen. So thank you to all those who give the gentle push.
We celebrated our Christmas eve a little early this year with family and friends and have posted some pictures and videos on our Facebook page - so please enjoy (please Click Here to view these).
Happy Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Mother Earth and Moon and to all a good night!
I leave you with this:
Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.
